Chemo Ninja Supporters

I've been looking online to see what I can find and who I can find that is liking and wearing Chemo Ninja Cancer Assassin Gear.  Here is what I've found so far.  If you have Chemo Ninja or Save the Twins gear I'd love to see it and share it here.  Thank you for your support and I hope that either you or the one you know battling cancer are blessed in every way.  Let us know how your fight is going.

Chemo Ninja Shirts Sent to Those Fighting

So over the last several months we have been trying to be more involved as a whole with others who are fighting the good fight and those who have our love for all things ninja!  I have been sending people I find on-line Chemo Ninja shirts.  I am hoping the shirts encourage and let's them know that they are being thought of by a larger group of people than just those directly around them.  I hope that all involved know that it's not just family and freinds who care.  I hope that you can support these families and share their stories.  These are some of the families we've sent things to.

Christmas for Kelli...

I may very well be one of the worst bloggers ever.  One post ever couple of years doesn't boad well.  However I did have some updates that I thought were worth sharing.  This past Friday 12/12/14 was a big deal for me personally and for Chemo Ninja Cancer Assassin.  I went to my oncologist for my 7 year check up from my end of chemo back in  2007, it also marked 10.5 years since my original diagnosis in July of 2004.  My oncologist told me that he didn't want to see me any more!  Basically unless I feel I need to get checked out for something I might be worried is cancer related I don't need to go back to the Cancer Center.  No more blood draws, X-rays, CT Scans, or doctors visits!!!  So I'm excited about that.

Two years ago Chemo Ninja helped a family through Let There Be Mom.  We did it again this year!  In 2012 we helped Kelli Rogers and her daughter Ashante.  We were able to reconnect with Kelli and Ashante this year.  We brought Kelli and Ashante the items that many people purchased or contributed to generously.  They were very excited, happy, appreciative and grateful.  Ashante's eyes were huge as we brought in all the gifts.  Kelly teared up as I carried in the microwave, as it was greatly needed.

I spoke with Kelli for a while and she updated me on her situation, it isn't looking good.  Kelli finished her Chemo a month ago but she's had a few issues since then.  Kelli's eyes have been causing her problems, as she has lost her sight twice and with some additional medicine it has been restored. She has what I would describe from my experience with chemo as chemical burns that have caused discoloration and dryness in her skin.  She seemed to be in good spirits considering. Kelli's physical condition didn't allow for the taking of pictures, but her appreciation was evident.  Kelli said thank you many times, and Ashante couldn't get the smile off her face.

Please continue to pray for Kelli and Ashante for God's hand to work in their situation.  Thank you so much for your help in helping this family.  It means a great deal to them and to me.

Thank You,
Merry Christmas,
Brian Bogle
