Two years ago Chemo Ninja helped a family through Let There Be Mom. We did it again this year! In 2012 we helped Kelli Rogers and her daughter Ashante. We were able to reconnect with Kelli and Ashante this year. We brought Kelli and Ashante the items that many people purchased or contributed to generously. They were very excited, happy, appreciative and grateful. Ashante's eyes were huge as we brought in all the gifts. Kelly teared up as I carried in the microwave, as it was greatly needed.
I spoke with Kelli for a while and she updated me on her situation, it isn't looking good. Kelli finished her Chemo a month ago but she's had a few issues since then. Kelli's eyes have been causing her problems, as she has lost her sight twice and with some additional medicine it has been restored. She has what I would describe from my experience with chemo as chemical burns that have caused discoloration and dryness in her skin. She seemed to be in good spirits considering. Kelli's physical condition didn't allow for the taking of pictures, but her appreciation was evident. Kelli said thank you many times, and Ashante couldn't get the smile off her face.
Please continue to pray for
Kelli and Ashante for God's hand to work in their situation. Thank you so
much for your help in helping this family. It means a great deal to them
and to me.
Thank You,
Merry Christmas,Brian Bogle
